Unfortunately, this was a fail in CDMX. The device would not charge on any outlet and so we switched to try and charge it through a laptop. It did seem to at least indicate charging via laptop but couldn't seem to hold the charge. We reached out to support kept saying "you need to press the power button deeply for x seconds". We sent videos and they would say "you're not pressing it deeply enough". It seemed to turn on randomly the morning after delivery but wouldn't stay on. Either way if you have to charge something a certain way or hold it a certain way or press it a certain way for it to function, then it's not actually functional. We asked for a refund of day one and a new device - they said they would just pick up the rental entirely. They didn't even try to replace it or swap it out, which to us says they just wanted to wash their hands clean of this. Hope they follow through on the promised refund for the entire thing. Very unfortunate experience and we're still stuck with questionable Wi-Fi at our Airbnb, so co-working spaces it is, this trip!
Very good. A little instruction would be helpful, like How to turn on. Delivered to hotel. Have not returned yet, but don’t anticipate any issues. Good response from customer service. Have paid half in Japan. Connectivity no problems. Battery pack seems broken, but have alternative methods to charge. Wi-Fi is perfect for traveling. Must have item.
I've been coming to PV for 4 years now and have used Pocketwifi everytime, great service and they are always super responsive when I have an issue.
Affordable and easy ... the best way to get access to internet wherever you go in either Cancún or Mexico City.
The device worked very well, and the service - including communication and delivery - were very professional, friendly and proactive.
